Representing companies in cases under the bankruptcy laws, as well as in other matters relating to corporate reorganization, creditors’ rights and insolvency.

EB-5 & Foreign Investments:

Advising businesses (including real estate developers and other project companies, regional centers and foreign and domestic EB-5 agents and consultants) who are seeking EB-5 financing from foreign investors, as well as representing foreign investors who are interested in obtaining permanent residence in the United States through making an EB-5 investment.

Energy & Utilities:

Providing comprehensive advice and representation on energy (electricity, natural gas, liquefied natural gas, steam, and hot and chilled water), water, wastewater, telecommunications and transportation issues. Attorneys represent clients before local, state and federal regulatory agencies, as well as in state and federal courts.

Environment:

Advising clients on matters related to compliance with state and federal environmental regulations and help to structure real estate and corporate transactions to minimize environmental liability. The firm also represents corporations and corporate officers in litigation related to environmental and regulatory liabilities.

Higher Education:

Handling a wide range of legal matters for large public and private universities, small independent colleges and universities, community colleges and a myriad of institutions affiliated with higher education.

Insurance:

Advising corporations in the insurance industry on issues related to the operation and regulation of companies in the insurance business including licensing, capitalization and solvency, and the marketing and sale of insurance products. The firm also represents clients in litigation related to the business of insurance.

Labor & Employment:

Representing clients in collective bargaining agreements, labor relations, procedures and protocols, employment, pay practices to comply with federal and state wage and hour laws and affirmative action plans and programs.

Life Sciences:

Developing comprehensive intellectual property strategies to protect and defend pharmaceutical, medical device, and biotechnology companies’ assets.

Litigation:

Representing corporations and corporate officers and directors in commercial disputes including shareholder derivative actions, securities fraud claims and other actions to enforce or defend legal or contractual rights.

Personal Wealth, Estates & Trusts:

Representing wealthy individuals, trusts and institutions in matters related to wealth preservation and management including tax, estate and retirement planning, business succession and executive compensation and charitable giving.

Real Estate:
