Zhaohui Wang

Mr. Wang is a senior partner at JT&N, and leads the firm’s tax law practice. He specializes in strategic consulting on tax matters, and can provide a unique national and global perspective on a wide range of tax matters. It is important for organizations that have a presence within China to understand how the local tax and national laws can affect each aspect of their operation, and that understanding is critical to addressing current situations and planning for the future. Mr. Wang provides a wide range of tax-related legal services, including tax consultation, tax planning, tax dispute resolution, tax-related benefits distribution and risk control, taxation hearing agency, administrative reconsideration or action on taxation, and tax-related defenses for both domestic and multinational companies, organizations, stockholders, senior management and governmental bodies. His clients include Total oil company, Air France Beijing Office, KLM Royal Dutch Airlines NV, Schlumberger, Hong Kong Railway The company, Lenovo Group Ltd., COFCO Limited, BBMG Corporation, Beijing Local Taxation audit Bureau, and the CDH investment Fund.

As a leading expert in Chinese tax law, Mr. Wang is regularly invited to give speeches and seminars on tax-related topics. In addition, Mr. Wang commits himself to tax law academic research, and has published several academic articles on tax law related topics. Mr. Wang has participated in shaping PRC tax-related laws, including the Individual Income Tax Law of the People’s Republic of China (2011), the Enterprise Income Tax Law of the People’s Republic of China (2006), the Budget Law of the People’s Republic of China (2012), and the Measures of the People’s Republic of China for the Control of Invoices (2009).

Prior to joining JT&N, Mr. Wang was a tax officer in the Beijing Taxation Bureau and worked in tax collection, tax inspection and taxation enforcement supervision. He was a tax consultant and agent at Deloitte Touche Tohmatsu in February 1997.
