Career

September 1979 to July 1983, Southwest University of Political Science and Law, Bachelor of Law.

July 1983 to December 1998，worked at the Criminal Law Teaching and Research Office of Southwest University of Political Science and Law, during which completed my graduate studies in criminal law from 1986 to 1988.

From December 1998 to present, managing partner (Chairman of the Board of Directors) of Chongqing Baijus Law Firm.

Publications

In recent years, SUN has authored, edited and co-authored 10 legal books, such as Finding Barristers (Zhaohui Dalvshi), What Lawyers Want (Lvshi Xiangyao de Dongxi), Imported Lawyers (Bolai de Lvshi), and published more than 100 articles in Finance and Economics (Caijing), China Lawyer (Zhongguo Lvshi)and Fangyuan Magazine (Lvzheng Fangyuan), among which How to Choose and Use Permanent Legal Adviser (Ruhe Xuanze he Qiaoyong Changnian Falv Guwen) was awarded the first prize by Contemporary China Leading Cadres Innovation Forum and won the first prize of Excellent Theoretical Research Results in Contemporary China, Research on Legal Environment in Western China was awarded the “Excellent Academic Book Award” by the China Urban Economics Association.

Personal

Practiced over 37 years, SUN has handled thousands of civil, commercial, and criminal litigation cases, including many major cases and outstanding cases.

Chongqing**School is a well-known private school in Chongqing, with primary, middle, and high schools. The school is hosted by Chongqing**Company. ZeKe Group's affiliated company plans to participate in the operation of Chongqing**Company through equity acquisition. SUN served as the lead attorney for this project, providing specialized legal services to ZeKe Group. The target amount exceeds 1 billion yuan. SUN led the team to conduct legal due diligence on Chongqing**Company and Chongqing**School. After the client decided to make an acquisition, he assisted the client in negotiating and drafting/revising/reviewing relevant transaction documents with Chongqing**Company. Chongqing**School has huge brand benefits in the local area of Chongqing. Against the backdrop of the country's high emphasis on education, this transaction is a representative and significant investment cooperation project in the field of local private education in Chongqing.

In the first smuggling case in Chongqing (1992), which involved XIA* being suspected of smuggling crimes; In the case of LU* suspected of intentional homicide; In the case of DENG* suspected of fraud; In the case that ZENG** was suspected of organizing a criminal organization (appeal); In the case of YAN* suspected of bribery; In the case of MA* suspected of bribery and crime of holding a huge amount of property with unidentified sources; In the case of XIANG* suspected of bribery; In the case of LIU* being suspected of corruption, SUN won the defendant's acquittal with his profound professional skills and powerful on-site eloquence. In a series of major economic cases such as China Life Insurance Company's lawsuit against Bank of China Chongqing Branch and the dispute over certificates of deposit against Everbright Bank Chongqing Branch, SUN’s outstanding agency helped the parties recover huge economic losses.
