Before joining Sundial Law Firm, he worked at King&Wood and at V&T. Mr. Yang also holds certification as a Corporate Compliance Professional and the qualification of DPO (Data Protection Officer).

Participating in the drafting of legislative proposals in the AI field, including the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Regulation on the Promotion of the Artificial Intelligence Industry and the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone Regulation on the Administration of Intelligent Connected Vehicles.

Personal

Mr. Yang Yang has extensive research and service experience in the fields of AI regulation and data compliance. He has participated in Shenzhen local legislative work, the drafting of national group standards, research projects, and the handling of major matters, such as compliance legal opinions for Hong Kong-listed companies on internet and data matters, and serving as data compliance counsel for a Changjiang Scholar enterprise.

In addition, Mr. Yang has substantial experience in commercial dispute resolution, having represented hundreds of cases involving corporate disputes, equity disputes, and private equity fund disputes, with a total disputed amount approaching RMB 5 billion.
