Graduated from the Law Department of Peking University in 1984 and subsequently engaged in long-term teaching and research in the field of investment law. Joined Sundial Law Firm in 1994 and later served as a senior partner.
Attorney Ma specializes in legal matters related to capital markets, including asset restructuring, mergers and acquisitions, equity investments, fund establishment and the full cycle of fundraising, investment, management, and exit operations, various project investments, and legal services for securities issuance and listing (IPOs and refinancing).
During this time, she was appointed as a member of the first and second issuance review committees for the ChiNext Board of the China Securities Regulatory Commission (CSRC), and served as a member of the first ChiNext listing committee under the registration-based system at the Shenzhen Stock Exchange. Currently, she serves as an arbitrator at the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration, a mediator at the Shenzhen Securities and Futures Dispute Mediation Center, and an external expert for the Shenzhen Municipal Government’s Guidance Fund. She has been repeatedly recognized in the IFLR1000 China rankings for the financial and corporate sectors and has been consistently listed in the prestigious rankings by Chambers and Partners and China Business Law Journal. Among the projects she has handled, the CIMC Vehicles spin-off IPO project was awarded the 15th New Fortune Most Innovative Project, the China Business Law Journal 2021 Outstanding Deal Award, and the 2019–2022 Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Outstanding Legal Service Case Award. The Huaxin Cement (600801.SH) B-share to H-share conversion project was recognized as the 15th New Fortune Most Innovative Project and the China Business Law Journal 2022 Outstanding Deal Award. The Huarun Medicine acquisition of Boya Bio (300294.SZ) project was honored as the 15th New Fortune Most Innovative Project, the IFLR1000 China 2021 Deal of the Year Award, and the China Business Law Journal 2021 Outstanding Deal Award.
