Ximena is co-head of the Intellectual Property and Competition practice of Osterling Abogados. She advises an important portfolio of national and foreign clients on trademark, patent, consumer protection, unfair competition, advertising, health regulation and clinical trials. She is, at the same time, a leading specialist in fashion law. She also has significant experience in administrative law and transport and telecommunications law.

Ximena provides comprehensive advice on the registration, protection and defence of trademarks, patents, copyrights and domain names, and on administrative proceedings before the Instituto Nacional de Defensa de la Competencia y de la Protección de la Propiedad Intelectual ꟷ Indecopi (National Institute for the Defence of Competition and Protection of Intellectual Property ꟷ Indecopi).

In addition, she has extensive knowledge of the regulations for obtaining authorisations and sanitary registrations, both for food and beverages and for cosmetic, pharmaceutical and veterinary products, test data protection and product labelling.
