Xennia is a Partner of the Mining and Environment Practice Areas, specializing in the advisory to both national and foreign companies and public agencies on regulation and contracts.
She takes part in the planning and procurement of permits throughout all stages involved in a mining project and in the implementation thereof in the process of exploration, exploitation-beneficiation and closure of mines.
In the commercial and contractual area, Xennia has a great deal of experience in negotiations for the acquisition of mining projects and/or companies; due diligence, financing; designing of simple and complex contractual structures, as well as contracts in relation to similar works, including negotiations with peasant communities for use of lands and others and assistance in litigations.
In the environmental area, she provides advice on the preparation of Environmental Studies; on the process of construction and production of industrial activities; and on procedures for supervision, inspection and sanctions.
