Bill Connolly has spent more than 25 years building his expertise in business transactions and corporate law – without losing his sense of humor. He focuses on domestic companies with annual revenues of $20 to $500 million and international firms with operations in the U.S.
“The most effective lawyers take time to listen and understand their clients’ priorities,” he says. “I develop long-term relationships and help my clients navigate change.” From his firm’s offices in New Jersey and New York City, Bill often acts as outside general counsel – committed to resolving issues promptly and economically.
Bill oversees transactions that help companies grow, including acquisitions, mergers, financings, workouts, shareholder disputes and contract negotiations. He manages teams of legal experts for large organizations with complex problems and offers counsel to individual executives. When clients need additional expertise, he draws on his large network of professionals in finance, accounting and other business services.
Before joining Sherman Wells Sylvester & Stamelman LLP, Bill was a partner at Riker, Danzig, Scherer, Hyland & Perretti LLP for 14 years.
