Will Cascadden, KC, is a partner at Gowling WLG’s Calgary office. He advises and represents employers in a number of employment and related matters, including: human rights, employee disability, terminations, labour relations, hiring, union certification drives, collective bargaining, policy development, group dismissals, employment issues in mergers & acquisitions and all manner of lawsuits and legal proceedings. His clients come from a range of sectors including: oil & gas, oilfield services, utilities, financial institutions, government and not-for-profit organizations

Will represents clients in arbitrations and before boards such as Human Rights tribunals, collective-agreement arbitrations, and labour relations boards. He also appears as counsel before the Superior Courts and Courts of Appeal of Alberta and British Columbia, as well as the Federal Court of Canada.

Will is also an adjunct professor of Employment Law at the Faculty of Law, University of Calgary.

He has also been recognized in The Canadian Legal Lexpert® Directory, The Best Lawyers™ in Canada and named an “Acritas Star” in 2019 and 2020.
