Wijnand Blom

Wijnand Blom is an international employment and labour lawyer based in Amsterdam, where he also heads the Amsterdam employment and labour practice. Wijnand has extensive experience in all aspects of employment and labour law, advising Dutch and international clients. He has over 20 years of experience which includes prior experience in corporate law and energy law.

He focuses on employee benefits, reorganizations, works council and labour union issues, intragroup and/or international employee mobility matters, industrial action and litigation and disputes related to complex cross-border restructurings and insolvencies.

During his career, Wijnand has acted for some of the world's leading companies and has represented clients in landmark litigation in his field.

Wijnand has been year on year rated in legal directories such as Chambers Europe. Peers highlight his experience in works council negotiations. Clients appreciate his "commercial strength", his "gravitas" and for thinking out of the box with a "laser-sharp" mind.

Wijnand has boardroom experience, as former board member of the Dutch Ski Association (one of the largest sport associations in the Netherlands).
