魏小为律师自2003年起执业，专攻海事法律事务。她在船运、海事诉讼、造船、国际贸易及跨境争议解决领域均拥有丰富经验。在争议性事务方面，其专业领域涵盖提单、租船合同、海运保险、货运代理、船舶碰撞、油污污染、造船工程、海员人身伤害及死亡赔偿，以及国际贸易纠纷。魏小为律师常年为保赔协会、船壳及机械保险人、船东、租船人、货运代理、船厂及贸易商提供法律服务。在非争议事务领域，她为船厂提供新造船、船舶融资及资产交易咨询，并为航运公司提供合规事务指导。同时协助海外货运代理公司、船舶管理公司及代理公司处理境外投资项目。加入万商天勤律师事务所之前，魏律师在上海四维乐马律师事务所(Sloma & Co.)和香港礼德齐伯礼律师行(Reed Smith Richards Butler)执业。魏小为律师于英国布里斯托大学取得海事法法学硕士学位。2018年入选中国司法部涉外法律事务律师名录，并担任中国船东互保协会、辽宁港务集团、中远海运能源运输有限公司、中远海运航运有限公司及东海海上保险有限公司法律顾问。

Victoria started to practice in the year of 2003 specializing in shipping matters. She has a wide range of experience in both shipping, shipping litigation, shipbuilding, international trade and cross-border dispute resolution. For contentious matters, her expertise extends to bill of lading, charterparty, marine insurance, freight forwarding, collision, oil pollution, shipbuilding, seafarer’s personal injury and death and international trade disputes. Victoria regularly receives instruction from P&I Club, hull & machinery insurer, shipowner, charterer, freight forwarder, shipyard and trader. For non-contentious matters, Victoria advises shipyards on new-building, shipping finance and assets transaction matters and advises shipping company on compliance matters. She also assists overseas freight forwarding company, shipping management and agency companies in handing inbound investment projects. Prior to joining V&T Law Firm as partner in the year of 2016, Victoria worked with Sloma & Co as associate for 9 years and then with Reed Smith Richards Butler Hong Kong office as senior Chinese legal consultant for 2 years. Victoria studied in University of Bristol UK with LLM degree in Maritime Law. She was selected to the panel of China Ministry of Justice of lawyers handling foreign-related matters in the year of 2018 and the panel lawyers of China Shipowners Mutual Assurance Association, Liaoning Port Group, COSCO Shipping Energy Transportation Co., Ltd., COSCO Shipping Lines Co., Ltd. and Donghai Marine Insurance Co., Ltd..
