Joined Sam Okudzeto & Associates in 2003 as a junior associate. Elected to partnership in (2013), Elected Managing Partner (2018). Victoria Barth is the Managing Partner of Sam Okudzeto & Associates. She has over 20 years’ experience in legal practice, with a specialisation in civil litigation and dispute resolution. She is also the head of the Litigation and Dispute Management team in the firm, and supervises the conduct of both litigious and non-litigious disputes to deliver the best outcome for her clients.
She has been at the helm of several landmark suits, performing the required analyses, and appearing before the superior courts of Ghana in representation of clients. Over the course of her practice Victoria has represented several local and international clients including the Millennium Development Authority (MiDA), Enterprise Group PLC, Enterprise Life Assurance Company Ltd and Enterprise Funeral Services Gh Ltd, Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA), and Standard Chartered Bank Ghana.
She was the lead attorney for the government driven MiDA compact in the case of BxC v MiDA, in which she successfully opposed an application to restrain the execution of the Concession for the Management of, Operation and Investments in the Electricity Distribution Business of Ghana worth over millions of dollars. As a result of her robust defence of the Concession, she further led the execution of a multi-million dollar guarantee in favour of the client. Victoria holds an LLB from Southampton University, UK, a post-graduate diploma from the Legal Practitioners Course - College of Law, Guildford, UK and a Qualifying Certificate from the Ghana School Of Law.
