The dispute resolution department of the firm is highly experienced in complex disputes across various industries in Ghana. The department’s work revolves around multi-faceted shareholders disputes, debt recovery, compensation claims against project sponsors, labour disputes, intellectual property infringement actions, human rights actions, high profile property disputes and tax disputes. The department represents clients in various disputes through mediation, arbitration and civil ligation. The department is composed of 4 different teams which are headed by our partners Victoria Barth, Isaac Ofosu-Boateng, Dominic Brenya-Otchere and Melisa Amarteifio. The department's recent work highlights include:

  • Representing a development agency in a concession dispute worth over $ 2,500,000.00
  • Representing a client in a shareholders disputes claim of over $2,000,000.00.
  • Representing a fortune global 500 company in an arbitration at the Ghana Arbitration Centre involving a sum over GHS 8,000,000.00
