Vicki has significant experience advising trustees on corporate restructurings and sales, including the impact of section 75 debt triggers. Vicki has also steered many schemes through the process of buying in / buying out their pension liabilities and the subsequent winding up exercise.
This year Vicki has advised a long standing trustee client on a corporate transaction relating to the sponsoring employer, including advising the trustees on conflicts of interest and the delegation of trustee powers to non-conflicted trustees, advising on the terms of the Pension Schemes Act 2021 and on trustee duties and mitigation required as part of the transaction, and negotiating a new guarantee with the buyer to mitigate a potential loss in covenant.
Following the completion of her training contract, Vicki joined Wrigleys in 2002.
