Alacoque specialises in working with clients on all aspects of employment law, including advising on policies and procedures, employment contracts, settlement agreements and the defence of tribunal claims.

Alacoque also advises on redundancy and restructure projects and on TUPE transfers, including the requirements of collective consultation.

She has a particular interest in discrimination law and equality issues, having considerable experience of the realities of managing staff and resources within the education and public sectors.

Career

Alacoque gained an undergraduate degree in English Language and Literature at the University of Oxford. Following a successful career as a teacher and faculty leader in an outstanding secondary school she retrained as a solicitor in 2013. Alacoque joined Wrigleys as part of for her training contract and qualified into the employment team in 2015.

Alacoque is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association, the Industrial Law Society and the Charity Law Association.

Publications

Alacoque edits Wrigleys’ monthly Employment Law Bulletin and regularly speaks on equality and employment law topics for charity and education sector audiences. Her articles have featured in Employment Solicitor Magazine, Sessional GP Magazine, WonkHe and third sector membership organisation publications.
