Valerie Hletko

Ms. Hletko, a Partner in the Washington, D.C., and Chicago offices of Buckley LLP, represents a variety of financial services clients in complex civil litigation, as well as in investigations and enforcement actions initiated by the Federal Trade Commission, the Department of Justice, the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation, the Federal Reserve Board, the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, the Department of Housing and Urban Development, and state bank regulatory agencies and state attorneys general. She has assisted with pre-enforcement matters relating to an array of consumer financial products and services, including responding to Proposed Action and Request for Response letters, Notice and Opportunity to Respond and Advise letters, and managing issues relating to self-disclosure.
