Urs Gnos heads the Transaction Team of Walder Wyss. His practice focuses on interna-tional and domestic mergers & acquisitions, private equity, venture capital and capital market transactions. He advises companies with respect to corporate and commercial law, corporate governance matters, stock exchange regulations, corporate reorganizations and restructurings. Most recent transactions include: Advising the private sellers on the sale of NVT AG to Blue Sail Medical Co., Ltd., a leading Chinese medical device company, listed at Shenzhen Stock Exchange; advising Aduno Holding on the sale of cashgate to Cembra Money Bank (SIX:CMBN); advising Oriflame Holding (STO:ORI) on its public takeover by Walnut Bidco Plc; advising DD Holding (STO:DDM) on its public takeover by Demeter Finance Sarl; advising Dana Incorporated (NYSE: DAN) on the acquisition of the Drive Systems Segment from OC Oerlikon (SIX: OERL).
Qualified in 1996. Joined Walder Wyss in 2001. Working experience as lawyer in Zurich, Chicago, New York based law firms.
