Also sits as an arbitrator in international arbitrations. Considerable experience and expertise in complex disputes arising from share-holders’ agreements, joint-ventures, M&A transactions, international contracts, engineering and construction projects, banking, finance and (re-)insurance, directors’ liability and insolvency.

Career

Law degree from Zurich University (1991, magna cum laude). Before joining Walder Wyss in 1999, he worked as a court law clerk in Zurich and as an attorney with major law firms in Zurich and in London. Admitted throughout Switzerland (1994). In 1999, he was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales (not practicing).

Chair of the Zurich Bar Association’s Litigation Practice Group, past Chair of DRI – Dispute Resolution International, past Vice-Chair of the ABA Section of International Law’s Litigation Committee, etc.
