Career
Trisha is a partner in the Litigation Department of Cades Schutte. Her practice areas include the defense of medical malpractice claims, personal injury, insurance litigation, and the representation of physicians in administrative disciplinary matters.
Trisha has represented numerous clients in alternative dispute resolution and has assisted lead counsel in trying medical malpractice cases to verdict.
Trisha obtained her B.A. in Speech, with distinction, from the University of Hawai‘i at Manoa in 2006. She was a member of the University of Hawai‘i Rainbow Wahine basketball team and achieved numerous academic accolades as a student-athlete. Trisha received her law degree from the William S. Richardson School of Law, University of Hawai‘i, in 2010. While in law school, she received the Bernard Levinson Memorial Award for the Best Constitutional Law Second-Year Seminar Paper, and served as a Technical Editor for the University of Hawai‘i Law Review. As a law student, Trisha also served as a Judicial Extern to the Honorable Leslie E. Kobayashi of the United States District Court for the District of Hawai‘i.
Prior to joining Cades Schutte, Trisha served as a law clerk to Associate Justice James E. Duffy, Jr. of the Hawai‘i State Supreme Court. Trisha is a member of the Hawaii State Bar Association, the American Bar Association, and the Federation of Defense and Corporate Counsel, and is admitted to practice before all Hawai‘i courts and the United States District Court for the District of Hawai‘i.
