Defending in gang murders; representing a triple murderer; defending in a high-profile terrorism case; defending in two multi handed ENCROCHAT cases.
Prosecuting both single and multi-handed murders; for example, prosecuting an attempted murder of a consultant surgeon by his consultant surgeon colleague and prosecuting a man for killing a couple using Fentanyl. She also prosecuted two defendants for gross negligence manslaughter, the “bouncy castle” case. Recently she prosecuted a nursery nurse for cruelty to a number of children in her care.
Tracy is a frequent writer and speaker on criminal law. In February 2020 she took part in a panel discussion with Baroness Hallett entitled “Is the Presumption of Innocence Alive and Well?” as part of the prestigious Social Context of the Law series at Inner Temple. She lectured at the Criminal Bar Association RASSO conference in 2024 on the subject of vulnerable witnesses.
She is the author of the chapter on disclosure in Vulnerable People and the Criminal Justice System (Cooper and Norton, ed., OUP), the leading book on the participation of vulnerable witnesses and defendants in the criminal justice system.
