Wide-ranging fraud practice including multi-million pound abuses of the Film Tax Credit system, computer hacking, mortgage fraud, Missing Trader Frauds, Boiler Room frauds, carbon credit trading schemes, timeshare fraud and bribery/corruption cases. Comprehensive knowledge of money laundering and confiscation provisions including civil forfeiture.

A high level of expertise in defending sexual offences including rape and historic child abuse cases.

Recent experience in terrorist cases, involving firearms and explosives.

Experienced in Court Martial work.

Strong appellate practice: regularly asked to advise on appeals where no grounds have previously been found.

In-depth knowledge of road traffic law and driving cases, often defending high-profile clients and instructed by insurers in fatality cases.

Regularly instructed in cases involving Enforcement Notices under the Town & Country Planning Act as well as breaches of Tree Preservation Orders and Conservation Orders.
