Tomoki Debari is recognized as a leading insurance lawyer in Japan with extensive experience in regulatory, transactional and contentious matters. Since joining the firm in 2001, he has advised numerous Japanese and international insurers, reinsurers, asset managers and financial institutions on licensing and market entry, M&A and portfolio transfers, demutualization, reinsurance, asset management, FSA inspections, internal investigations and dispute resolution, amongst other matters. He combines deep and broad technical knowledge with practical experience and insights accumulated over more than 20 years of legal practice.
