Experience

Since 2017, Macêdo has advised Brazilian and international clients on complex transactions and projects in the infrastructure, energy, and natural resources sectors. He is highly experienced in regulatory, contractual, and corporate matters, regularly assisting with project structuring, implementation, and operation, as well as M\&A, privatizations, and public auctions.

Previously, he served as a Federal Attorney from 2004 to 2017, including leadership roles at key regulatory agencies such as ANTT, DNPM, ANP, and CADE. From 2010 to 2016, he was the Attorney General of the National Petroleum Agency (ANP), where he played a central role in high-stakes regulatory and litigation matters.
