Career
Flávia specializes in Competition and Antitrust Law and is the coordinator of the Competition practice at Manesco. Previously, she served as an advisor to the Brazilian Administrative Council for Economic Defense (Conselho Administrativo de Defesa Econômica - CADE), Brazil’s antitrust authority.
She currently holds the position of Director of Institutional Relations at the Brazilian Institute of Competition, Consumer, and International Trade Studies (IBRAC). Additionally, she manages the IBRAC podcast, IBRACCAST, and is the author of the book "Application of Penalties in the Repression of Cartels: An Analysis of CADE Jurisprudence," published by Lumen Juris in 2016, as well as other book chapters and scholarly articles on competition law.
Recognitions
Flávia is internationally recognized for her work in Competition/Antitrust. In 2019, she was highlighted by Chambers Latin America for her work in Competition/Antitrust in Brazil. The same year, Who’s Who Legal selected her as one of its Competition - Future Leaders 2019. Flávia is classified as Band 5 in Chambers for Competition/Antitrust.
In addition, she has received numerous accolades: in 2022, Análise Advocacia ranked her as the fourth most admired lawyer in Competition. In 2023, Análise Advocacia Mulher recognized her as the leading lawyer in Competition and ranked her fourth in the Agriculture and Livestock sector and fifth in the Banking sector. Additionally, she was named the fifth most admired lawyer in São Paulo. Also in 2022, Who’s Who Legal reaffirmed her as a Competition Future Leader. She was recognized in the Best Lawyers 2024 edition for her exceptional contributions to Competition law.
