Thomas A Litz

Tom Litz serves as primary and trusted outside counsel to a variety of businesses and institutions, including public and private companies, pension systems and civic organizations.

Bringing decades of experience in corporate and securities law and investment management, Tom works with clients in a range of corporate and finance transactions and disputes, involving M&A, capital raising, board governance and strategic processes.

Tom doesn’t substitute his business judgment for the client’s. Instead, he helps clients understand the full range of options (including assessing potential legal risks), and determine the best strategies to move forward.

Tom has spent his entire career with Thompson Coburn and served on the firm’s Management Committee and Executive Committee for many years. He continues to strive to help facilitate not only his clients’ success but that of his colleagues as well.
