Themelis is active in M&A and Corporate Law, assisting clients with M&A transactions (including due diligence), corporate governance and day-to-day commercial questions and contracts. He has advised clients in several high-profile deals, with a focus in the energy (RES, Oil & Gas), hospitality and food sectors, including with respect to financing issues.
Themelis also specializes in Competition Law, having previously worked both at the European Commission’s DG COMP (state aid) and the Hellenic Competition Commission. He has been involved in a number of major antitrust cases and privatizations with respect to their competition and regulatory aspects.
He is the author of a number of contributions and publications, focusing on antitrust regulation.
