Career

In 2025, Teresita Vial joined Lembeye as Energy Director, reinforcing the firm’s leadership in the national energy market. Previously, she was Director and head of the Project Development Practice at ACU Abogados, which she joined in April 2021. She also served as Legal Manager for Solek, a Czech renewable-energy company with a significant footprint in Chile.

Teresita has vast experience in the energy sector specially in electric regulation and project development and is widely known in the country for her experience in project development, including negotiation of the full range of project contracts, obtaining key permits and regulatory approvals, and supporting project finance transactions.

Also, she is professor in different energy regulation and project development certificates and courses at Universidad de Chile, Universidad de Santiago and Universidad Adolfo Ibañez, and speaker at various energy seminars.

Teresita was Director at ACESOL (Chilean Solar Energy Association) for 2 years, and part of 2021 Women in Energy Program of the World Energy Council.
