Career

Teresita Vial joined ACU Abogados on April 2021 to act as ACU Abogados’ Director and leader of our Project Development Practice. Teresita previously worked as Legal Manager for Solek (Czech Republic renewable energy company with presence in Chile).

Teresita has vast experience in the energy sector specially in electric regulation and project development and is widely known in the country for her experience in project development, including negotiation of the full range of project contracts, obtaining key permits and regulatory approvals, and supporting project finance transactions.

Also, she is professor in different energy regulation and project development certificates and courses at Universidad de Chile, Universidad de Santiago and Universidad Adolfo Ibañez, and speaker at various energy seminars.

Teresita was Director at ACESOL (Chilean Solar Energy Association) for 2 years, and part of 2021 Women in Energy Program of the World Energy Council.
