Rosario Martínez

She has been Director at LAWGIC Abogados since 2021, where she leads energy and project development matters, including due diligence, financing and tender processes, corporate structuring, civil law matters, and electricity sector regulatory issues.

Before joining LAWGIC, she spent over a decade as Senior Associate in Carey's Energy Group (2008–2020), advising on the legal, administrative and regulatory aspects of power generation projects, particularly solar and wind. Her work included legal reports, electricity concessions, administrative permits, and due diligence for the acquisition, sale and financing of projects, as well as drafting and negotiating energy supply, transmission and interconnection agreements, and tender and paid-use concession processes.

Rosario is an expert lawyer with more than 10 years of experience in the development of energy infrastructure projects in Chile. Her practice is focused on all legal aspects related to the development of such projects, including the drafting and negotiation of land lease agreements, easements, transmission and interconnection agreements, power purchase agreements, due diligence and financing processes, corporate structures, related matters and civil law.
