Teresa Snider

Teresa is co-chair of the firm’s Reinsurance Litigation and Arbitration Practice Group. She has handled numerous arbitration hearings and court cases, including matters related to coverage and allocation, treaty interpretation, late notice, bad faith, misrepresentation and nondisclosure allegations, claim handling, actuarial standards for calculating IBNR, and agency issues. Teresa provides counseling on contract wording and coverage issues, assists clients in assessing their rights against insolvent insurers, and drafts commutation and settlement agreements. She represents both ceding insurers and assuming reinsurers.

During law school, Teresa served as executive editor of the Michigan Journal of International Law. Following law school, she clerked for the Hon. Harry D. Leinenweber in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Illinois.
