Susan Nash is highly regarded nationally in the areas of health care reform and health benefits. She counsels employers and health plans on health care reform strategy and legal compliance with the Affordable Care Act (ACA), the Employee Retirement Income Security Act, the CARES Act, the Mental Health Parity and Addiction Equity Act and the Internal Revenue Code. Susan also has extensive experience with innovative employee health benefit strategies, such as employer direct contracting with providers, population health and disease management, wellness programs, telemedicine, on-site clinics, and private healthcare exchanges. She has counseled a wide variety of employers and health plans on compliance with the HIPAA’s privacy, security, and nondiscrimination requirements. Susan has also represented clients in audits with the Internal Revenue Service, the Department of Labor, the Department of Health and Human Services, and in contracting with third-party vendors for health and welfare benefits.
