Sufen Zhang leads the immigration practice at Miles & Stockbridge.

She handles all aspects of business immigration, including nonimmigrant and immigrant visa matters, immigration compliance, and representation of employers involved in worksite enforcement actions.

Sufen assists employers in technology, healthcare, higher education and manufacturing, among other industries, in navigating the complexities of securing work authorization for foreign workers. She has successfully represented local, national and international employers in obtaining authorization for employees to work temporarily and permanently in the United States.

In addition, Sufen develops immigration compliance strategies and programs for employers of all sizes and frequently conducts compliance audits, both as part of internal reviews and in the course of due diligence for companies involved in mergers, acquisitions or other corporate transactions. She also helps clients develop immigration policies and procedures and provides immigration training for in-house counsel, HR managers and front line supervisors.
