With over 25 years of experience in corporate law, Sofia has advised private and publicly listed companies, state-owned entities and international investors. Her practice combines a solid command of complex regulatory frameworks with a pragmatic, business-oriented approach, providing clients with clear and actionable guidance.
Over the years, She has developed specialised expertise in advising on transactions and projects across highly regulated and strategic industries. She has extensive experience counselling on joint ventures and shareholder agreements, having led the negotiation of numerous structures in both public and private sectors. Her practice also encompasses asset deals and corporate reorganisations, including winding up and liquidation, changes of legal form, establishment of holding structures, and internal reorganisation of companies. These assignments frequently involve close coordination with finance, regulatory and commercial teams, ensuring alignment between corporate structures, compliance requirements and business objectives.
