Head of the Firm's Corporate and Commercial practice and also he acts as managing partner of our Firm. Strong finance practice advising debtors and lenders in credit agreements and complex debt instruments. Regularly acts as deal counsel and local counsel in multijurisdictional M&A, infrastructure and finance transactions.

Career

Rejoined the Firm as Partner in 2011 after practicing in Shearman & Sterling LLP (New York) and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer LLP (Barcelona).

"Understanding the business judgement rule", published in the Spanish Corporate Law Review in 2012, author of the book "Payment Systems" (Editorial La Ley, Paraguay).

Personal

Sigfrido graduated at the top of his class at the Universidad Católica de Asunción and is also a graduate of Harvard Law School (LL.M, 2001). He is admitted to practice law in New York, Spain, and Paraguay.

He speaks and writes Spanish and English fluently, and intermediate German.
