The Banking and Finance and capital markets group provides services to lenders, borrowers and security agents in credit agreements, project finance and complex credit structures, including negotiating and documenting traditional and innovative security structures, as well as advising in debt restructurings. The Firm also provides day to day advisory to banks and financial institutions (Citibank has been a client for the past 50 years). The firm´s capital market practice has advised in all 9 of the sovereign based US Dollar denominated fixed rate securities issuances under NY Law since 2013. Recent experiences involve advising: 

• Sudameris Bank as lead arranger and lender in the structuring and execution of a syndicated loan of $140,000,000 for the construction of a cement
• Banco Itau Paraguay SA in the structuring of a syndicated loan of $110,000,000 for acquisition of 51% stake in Yguazu Cementos SA 
• Citibank, Goldman Sachs, Itau BBA, and Banco Santander as underwriters in the issuance of sovereign bonds for USD 1 billion under Reg S/Rule 144A
• UBS Group in the financing of US$ 443,000,000 for the design and construction of the pavement of the Loma Plata-Carmelo Peralta Route, under Reg S/Rule 144A
• Telefónica Celular del Paraguay, in the issuance of bonds under the Reg S/Rule 144 for the sum of $300,000,000 
• Goldman Sachs & Co, IDB Invest and Itaú BBA in the financing of $500,000,000 for the construction of Routes 2 and 7 under the first Public-Private Partnership in Paraguay
