Ms. Aranoff has represented clients in some of the most significant cases before the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) over the past several years, scoring critical victories for her clients in antidumping and countervailing duty investigations involving key global industries. For example, Ms. Aranoff was one of the lead lawyers in the firm's successful representation of Kruger Inc. and the News Media Alliance, winning a unanimous no-injury determination on newsprint.
Ms. Aranoff maintains an active Section 337 litigation practice, representing both domestic and foreign companies. She also advises U.S. importers on customs compliance and tariff mitigation strategies.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Aranoff was a Commissioner and Chairman of the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC), where she was a decision-maker in hundreds of Section 337, antidumping, countervailing duty, and safeguard investigations. Drawing on her 20 years of experience in the executive and legislative branches of the U.S. government, she develops legal and public policy strategies to assist clients navigating the U.S. International Trade Commission, U.S. Customs and Border Protection, Congress, and the courts.
