Ben Donovan is a U.S. and UK qualified partner with a broad transactional practice. In particular, Ben's practice focuses on project development and finance, where he has represented oil and gas companies, independent power producers, government and parastatal entities, investment funds, lenders and other industry participants in the development, acquisition, financing, restructuring and divestiture of projects worldwide, with a particular emphasis on projects in Africa. He has extensive experience in the development and financing of projects in the upstream and midstream oil and gas, power and petrochemicals industry sectors, and he also has significant mergers and acquisitions experience in the power and upstream, midstream and downstream oil and gas industry sectors. Ben’s power sector experience includes extensive work in renewable energy, notably including industry-leading experience in battery storage projects.
