Career

Sergio has extensive experience advising national and international companies on contract disputes and torts both in the ordinary jurisdiction and in the administrative jurisdiction and before arbitration tribunals and foreign courts.

He brings a wealth of experience from having taken part in several of the most relevant disputes across a wide variety of sectors such as retail, infrastructure, insurance among others.

He has focused his legal work on strategic litigation with effects both in Colombia and abroad in matters of commercial intermediation, insurance, large infrastructure claims, compliance and financial risks.

He is a university adjunct professor, was an advisor to the chair of the International Association of Insurance Law (AIDA) and has published several books on torts law in Colombia and Spain.
