Juan Manuel is Partner of the Corporate M&A and Banking & Finance practice areas.

He is focused on advising investment banks, private equity funds, search funds and first-line strategic investors in mergers, acquisitions and disposition of assets in Colombia and Latin America.

For more than five years, Juan Manuel was head of M&A and Banking and Finance practices at a prestigious international law firm operating in Bogotá.

Between 2007 and 2008 he worked at Chadbourne & Parke in New York. He has been professor of the “Obligations” class at Universidad de Los Andes Law School and he designed and launched the International Business course at the same university.
