In prosecution matters, Sebastián has significant experience managing patent portfolios in Chile and abroad. He has handled numerous third-party opposition proceedings, as well as appeals and petitions before the Industrial Property Tribunal and the Supreme Court of Chile.

He is a member of the Chilean Intellectual Property Association (ACHIPI) and a Foreign Member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
