Sebastián Alvarado

Attorney from Universidad de Los Andes, holding an LL.M. in Law, Science, and Technology from Stanford University. He specializes in patents, regulatory approvals (sanitary registrations), trade secrets, and plant varieties.

In prosecution matters, Sebastián has significant experience managing patent portfolios in Chile and abroad. He has handled numerous third-party opposition proceedings, as well as appeals and petitions before the Industrial Property Tribunal and the Supreme Court of Chile.

He is a member of the Chilean Intellectual Property Association (ACHIPI) and a Foreign Member of the American Intellectual Property Law Association (AIPLA).
