Confidential sports cases include disputes and investigations in both the High Court and arbitral settings including the London Court of International Arbitration, ICC International Court of Arbitration and various independent arbitral panels convened by particular sporting bodies. Such sports cases involve a wide range of matters including contractual disputes, fraud claims (and/or allegations of other wrongdoing), regulatory investigations and/or advisory work, and employment disputes, arising in the sports of football, rugby, cricket, tennis, Formula 1, boxing, cycling and e-sports, and including acting for and/or against:
• In football: Premier League and EFL clubs, managers, players and directors; and national governing bodies in three countries;
• In other sports: team owners, directors, players/ athletes, agents and governing bodies;
• Commercial actors such as sponsors, tournament organisers and media rights owners/ distributors.
