As a member of the Firm’s European Funds Practice based in London, Sam Brooks represents sponsors of both closed-ended and open-ended alternative investment funds.

Focusing on the structuring, sponsoring and operation of private investment funds, Sam advises sponsor clients on a broad range of funds issues, including marketing regulations and documents, structuring and terms, investor negotiations and service agreements. His practice incorporates upper-tier mandates such as management entities and compensation arrangements.

Sam also has extensive experience advising on the retailization of private assets, including on the launch of several ELTIF products and Luxembourg UCI Part II semi-liquid funds, as well as country-specific products in multiple European jurisdictions.
