Russell Clark heads up the trusts and private wealth team in Guernsey. He advises on both contentious and non-contentious trust and private wealth matters, and advises private clients on succession, estate planning and family governance.
Russell is the managing partner of the firm's Guernsey office and is also a Notary Public. He advises on Guernsey, Alderney and Sark law.
Russell has been named as one of the 2021 eprivateclient 50 Most Influential.
Russell was admitted as a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England and Wales before returning to Guernsey where he qualified as an advocate in 1997. He was made partner in 2001. Russell became a Notary Public in 2006.
Russell is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (STEP), having previously been Chairman of the STEP Guernsey Branch Technical Committee and a Branch Committee member for 18 years. He remains involved in assisting the STEP Technical Committee.
He is also a member of The International Academy of Estate and Trust Law (TIAETL) and the Association of Contentious Trust and Probate Specialists (ACTAPS).
