Robert is an experienced pensions lawyer, having qualified into the pensions department of an international law firm in 2009. He predominantly acts for workplace pension schemes in the private sector, advising employers and trustees on all aspects of pensions law, including in relation to compliance and governance, day to day benefit queries, corporate activity and benefit design.
Robert has particular expertise in relation to liability management exercises and buy-in and buy-out transactions, including the partial buy-in of pensioner liabilities and transactions on an ‘all risks’ basis. His wider practice encompasses schemes ranging in size from a few million to over £1bn in assets.
