Anna is an experienced pensions lawyer who has spent many years advising trustees and employers of workplace pensions. She has also acted for pensions investment, administration and consultancy service providers giving her a valuable breadth of knowledge.
Anna advises on all aspects of DB and DC arrangements, including governance, regulatory compliance, funding, scheme de-risking strategies and mergers and wind-ups.
She also advises on the key issue of legal risk associated with scheme investments, including pooled fund documentation, custody agreements, investment management agreements, buy in/buy out contracts and platform provider policies. Anna is experienced in advising schemes on Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) and Stewardship considerations including net zero commitments.
Anna has expertise in relation to DC arrangements, advising on the specific governance and compliance requirements that apply in the DC world. She helps with closures of DC schemes and sections, including transfers to master trusts. Anna also has wide-ranging experience of advising trustees and funders of DC master trusts through establishment, growth and market exit and consolidation phases.
