Robert Sheahan is a partner and head of the Advocacy Department in Gowling WLG’s Ottawa office. Certified by the Law Society of Ontario as a Specialist in Health Law, Robert practises health law and solicitors’ negligence and acts as General Counsel to the Canadian Medical Protection Association.
He has appeared before the Ontario Provincial Court, Superior Court of Justice, Court of Appeal, as well as health professions boards and commercial tribunals.
He is an instructor at the Osgoode Hall LLM Health Law Program and has guest lectured at the University of Ottawa Faculties of Law and Medicine.
