Robert K Kelner

Robert Kelner chairs Covington’s Election and Political Law practice group and provides political law compliance advice to a wide range of the country's largest corporations. He also leads the firm's nationally recognized congressional investigations practice. His political law practice focuses on campaign finance law, lobbying disclosure law, pay-to-play rules, government ethics laws, and the Foreign Agents Registration Act. Mr. Kelner regularly advises corporations on instituting political law compliance programs. He has extensive experience conducting internal investigations and, as a partner in Covington's White Collar Defense and Investigations practice group, he regularly defends clients in investigations by the Federal Election Commission and the Department of Justice, as well as in Congressional investigations.
