Robert is recognised as a senior practitioner in the field of financial remedy in the north of England, with over 30 years in practice. He is instructed in high value and complex cases involving corporate structures, offshore assets and high income claims. He is also regularly asked to sit as a private FDR adjudicator and arbitrator in cases of that nature, illustrating the confidence placed in his knowledge and judgment.

Robert has an excellent understanding of financial accounts and business valuations following on from his work in accountancy, which also ensures that he can identify when all is not what it may seem. Known for his attention to detail and tenacious cross-examination style, Robert is acclaimed for his work at both the FDR phase and in conducting final hearings.

He has been invited to speak on a regular basis at national conferences specialising in financial remedy and in lecturing at the Judicial College. He is Head of the Family Law Team at the market-leading Broadway House Chambers.
