Robert Cole

Robert is viewed as a senior junior and specialist in complex and high value financial remedy cases, being ranked in the top tier in all directories for many years. His reputation and practice extend across the whole of the north, ranging over the Midlands, the Northern and North Eastern circuits.

His work sees him dealing with all matters, including farming cases, high income disputes, pensions and family trusts, and disputes centring on the factual and legal arguments over whether assets and property are or have become matrimonial or not.

He is known for his ability to deal with matters involving complicated corporate structures and valuations. His strong reputation in this area in particular is illustrated by him being invited to lecture at the Judicial College on the treatment and approach to companies in financial remedy applications. He has also been invited to be the guest speaker at the National Institute of Forensic Accountants.

Robert is Head of the Family Team at Broadway House Chambers, which has grown to be a market leader under his leadership. Robert regularly sits as both a private FDR judge and arbitrator.
