Rebekah S. Guyon is a data privacy and intellectual property attorney whose practice focuses on defending and advising clients on artificial intelligence, consumer privacy, cybersecurity, behavioral advertising, copyright, trademark, right of publicity, First Amendment, Internet-related, commercial contract, business and class action disputes and risk deterrence.
Rebekah has over a decade of experience fighting, and defeating, claims against technology providers and consumer-facing companies at the intersection of cutting-edge technologies and the law. Rebekah has developed a deep technical knowledge that allows her to interface directly with marketing teams, back-end engineers, and programmers to put legal recommendations into action without sacrificing her client’s business goals.
Rebekah is an experienced litigator before both state and federal courts and domestic and international arbitration panels. She frequently advises on issues first impression in California state and federal courts.
Prior to joining the firm, Rebekah was a law clerk for the Honorable James O. Browning in the U.S. District Court for the District of New Mexico.
Before practicing law, Rebekah taught high school U.S. History and New Mexico History in Albuquerque, New Mexico.
