Ray Biagini

Raymond Biagini is widely recognized for his expertise in defending “contractors on the battlefield,” establishing ground-breaking legal principles at the federal appellate level which immunize defense contractors from combat related tort liability. Mr. Biagini has also successfully defended companies in cases involving the Exxon Valdez; Cell Phone Radiation Hazards; and "Fen-Phen." Finally, following the 9/11 terrorist attacks, Mr. Biagini, at the request of industry, conceived and authored the key provisions of the U.S. SAFETY Act, a landmark legislative remedy which incentivizes homeland security companies to deploy anti-terror technology by potentially immunizing them from enterprise-threatening lawsuits arising from terrorist attacks.
