Ranjeev Dhillon

Ranjeev is a partner and Co-Head of McCarthy Tétrault’s national Cannabis Law Group. He helps clients successfully navigate the evolving demands of the cannabis market in Canada and abroad, advising in a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, debt and equity financings, public listings (IPOs and RTOs), private equity and venture capital transactions, corporate governance matters including acting for special committees, shareholder arrangements, corporate reorganizations, regulatory matters, public markets matters and distribution and supply agreements. He has worked on a number of the most significant mandates in the sector and has been featured in numerous articles and media outlets. Ranjeev has spoken at conferences across Canada and internationally in the US and the UK and is ranked by various ranking services for his work in the cannabis market and for M&A and corporate services.

Ranjeev represents “plant touching” and “non-plant touching” private, public, domestic and international clients including new entrants into the cannabis sector, with international experience in the US, UK, continental Europe, South America, Africa and Australia.
